From wellness visits to quick and speedy test results, we will do everything in our power to make your cat or dog feel as wonderful as they are.
Some veterinarian offices may offer generalized wellness check-ups, but if they notice something is abnormal with your companion’s health, they might need to send you elsewhere for further testing.
At Northwood Animal Hospital, we have a wide range of state-of-the-art diagnostic testing equipment that allows us to diagnose many issues in house.
Our in-house laboratory comes in handy when we need to run a sample of your pet’s blood, stool, or urine. We are able to complete the testing ourselves to ensure accuracy, and we do so in a speedy manner. Instead of having to wait for someone else to process the lab work and then allow extra time for us to receive the results, our testing can be done in just a fraction of the time.
We also provide radiography services. Using x-rays, we are able to pinpoint a break or fracture with speed and preciseness. Whether your dog tripped while chasing a squirrel or your cat simply jumped off a surface too high, our radiography services can help identify and manage bone breaks. Radiography can also be used to view your pet’s organs and detect certain problems.
We can tell a lot about your pet’s health by conducting a physical exam. Sometimes, though, we need to look deeper.
